There is more to see in Madrid than you can imagine. Now you will have the opportunity to visit El Rastro , Madrid 's famous open air flea market that dates back to the 17 th century. You can find just about anything in the streets filled with stalls and little stores that open to the public on Sundays as part of the Rastro market.

Visit the Archaeological Museum , where you will find collections of prehistoric objects as well as from the Middle and Modern Age. Or the wax museum, where you can “bump into” your famous idol or pop singer!

The Retiro Park and the Juan Carlos I park are also great places to enjoy long walks or even people watching! On weekends in the Retiro you will find puppet shows for children, you can take a boat ride in the lake or stroll down the tree lined paths.

If you enjoy nature and animals, don't forget to visit the Casa de Campo Zoo, one of the best in Europe , where you will find animals from the five continents and a dolphin show like no other!

And last but not least, you cannot leave Spain without visiting a bullring, and the Las Ventas one in Madrid is spectacular. The origins of the Plaza de Toros or bullring are probably not the Roman amphitheatres but more the Celt-iberian temples where religious ceremonies were held. In Spain , bullfighting is considered by some an art and by others a sport, but it is still the challenge of a man faced with a beast – the toro bravo.
